One the road

to getting a bunch of eyes finished in time to take them on the poly clay cruise in two weeks. On Friday I made a “rainbow” eyeball cane and got some eyes baked. The cane was exactly what I was aiming for but now I have an idea of what to do for the next one. I then started in and got 5 full eyes finished. The upper right eye uses the rainbow cane and has already been adopted by Eva in Denmark and is hoping to fly east tomorrow. Presuming I get off my tukus and make it to the post office.

5 new Dragon eyes

I took most of the weekend off from claying, but the mind never stopped. I have a new idea I want to try this coming week. If the idea works the way I think it wil, the next set of eyes will be different then any I have made yet. I also need to get some new canes made to take with me. two weeks….eeeps. best get to work eh?

and I have made major dents in my galleries. I almost have all my images up so I am happy. My goal was to get them up before the poly clay cruise and I may just get it done!

Yesterday I got a bit sidetracked from my pages and the clay. I did make a new eye cane, using rainbow colors. It is a bit dark so the next one will have more light colors. However, it will work for making more DragonEyes.

The sidetrack you ask? Well, I decided I needed some more ink so I got a new tattoo yesterday. Heck, I even have a picture of it that I will share. Tis a bit sore this morning but it shall pass. It covers the whole outside of my left calf with a few waves lapping over the shin and back of the calf. I love how bright the colors are now and I pray they remain this bright once it is healed.
