New Tutorial up

by Kathi on Tuesday, April 3, 2007

After I got home from the cruise I decided that since so many folks had been asking how I made my eyeballs, I would share my method for making an eyeball cane. So, after taking a gazillion pictures, and sitting down 4 different times, I finally got the tutorial finished. This one is a bit more complex then most of my canes so I have rated it as an intermediate level cane. there are something like 30 images to help those who like visual learning. I hope folks like the tutorial and have fun making the cane. If you make one, please share the results. I love seeing what y’all do.

Some pictures from the 2007 Polymer Clay cruise

I thought folks might like to see some of the images I tossed together on my .mac website. Here is the link to it . figured it was easier this way then trying to re-do it for here :)

I am expanding my line of DragonEyes. I have some half size ones in the making that can be worn as a focal, plus am making smaller ones for earrings. I am also thinking of seling just the eyeball in sets for folks to make things of. Also in the making is a tutorial on how I create my eyeball cane. It has a few differences from other eye canes out there so I hope folks will like it. I plan on doing the picture portion of the cane today while the womens final 4 is on. Nothing like basketball and claying to make this girl a happy camper. (Beats doing yard work if ya ask me!)

Lobster anyone?
