two posts in one month. ok who am I and what did I do with DaDragon?

Not much is happening around here. I am working in the studio daily making earrings. Pretty much making Angry Bird Earrings and Angry Bird Hannukiot for my friends who want them. However, lurking in the back of my mind are some ideas I want to put to clay. A little shadowy right now but if I give the dragonbrain a bit of time, they will clarify and be created in clay.

I also did something I have wanted to do for a while. I am going back to “school”. The community college here in town offers courses for folks who are older and want to try different classes without having to commit to a full semester. I bit the bullet and signed up for a beginning watercolor class. I have always wanted “formal” art training and figured this would be a perfect place to start. There were actually three classes I wanted to take but they all met on the same day and that would of been 6 hours in a row. nope….back refused that idea. I am excited about this and look forward to class beginning March 4th. Yes, I will share pictures of what I create….IF they are share worthy

Besides working in the studio with clay, I am getting back into my knitting with a beautiful cable sweater (that is 1/4 finished) for my wife. I keep getting side tracked with fast projects (doggy sweaters and Ewok hats) but I promised Karen she would have her sweater by this summer…..when it is 100F degrees. Ok…so I would like to have it finished before then because I have other knitting projects that are clamoring to be started.

I swear there are not enough hours in the day for all I want to do. Best get off the computer and started if I want to even come close to finishing my today’s to do list.
