As promised, a few more posts this year then last. Since my last post I have been busy trying to manage 5 different projects and take care of our zoo. Interesting to say the least. The first project to get finished was my tutorial for Australian Beading. This was a “must get done” because I had a deadline of the Jan 14th. I got it done on the third and sent off. Haven’t heard back so I am guessing the images were all ok for them. It should be in the next issue. My tutorial was inspired by Natalia García de Leániz and her wonderful chunk beads. My second project I needed to get done was to finish the “novel” I started in November for NaNoWriMo, a yearly challenge that happens each November. Try and write a 50 thousand word novel in 30 days. I did make the 50 thousand in time but I hadn’t finished the story. I had been adding bits and pieces but it wasn’t until Friday that my “muse” decided to tell me “who done it” so I could write the final section. Now it is finished and off to my dear friend who is a published author. She will give me feedback and help with the editing. I figure the editing will take the next 8 months. That will give me a month off to recuperate before this years NaNoWriMo event. Yep, I am crazy, going to do it again The next three projects are clay. Two are for orders….
